Warnings and precautions
Are there any potential side effects of taking Biomax® Origine 8® Liposomal Complete Green Tea Extract? When taken orally, green tea extract is generally well tolerated. The most common adverse events are gastrointestinal, including bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, dyspepsia, flatulence, nausea, abdominal pain, reflux, increased thirst, and flatulence. Discontinue use and consult your healthcare provider if you experience any of these symptoms.
Are there any warnings or special precautions I should be aware of before taking Biomax® Origine 8® Liposomal Complete Green Tea Extract? Users should consult a registered healthcare provider if they are taking any other medicines (including chronic, complementary, or traditional medicines) or have high blood pressure, bleeding disorder, glaucoma, and/or detrusor instability. Biomax® Origine 8® Liposomal Complete Green Tea Extract should be avoided in individuals using bortezomib. Discontinue use two weeks prior to surgery. Limit caffeine-containing products, as Biomax® Origine 8® Liposomal Complete Green Tea Extract contains 11 mg caffeine per 1 capsule (a cup of instant coffee contains approximately 80 mg of caffeine). Individuals with impaired hepatic function or liver disorders should avoid use. Consult your healthcare provider in case of pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Are there any contraindications for taking Biomax® Origine 8® Liposomal Complete Green Tea Extract? Do not take Biomax® Origine 8® Liposomal Complete Green Tea Extract if you have hypersensitivity (allergy) to green tea, caffeine, or any of its other ingredients; stop using it if an allergic reaction occurs. Concomitant use with bortezomib is also a contraindication.
Is Biomax® Origine 8® Liposomal Complete Green Tea Extract safe for everyone? No, Biomax® Origine 8® Liposomal Complete Green Tea Extract is not safe for everyone. It is not suitable for children under 18 years of age. There are specific warnings and precautions for individuals with certain medical conditions (e.g., high blood pressure, glaucoma, liver disorders, diabetes, anxiety disorders, bleeding disorders) and those taking certain medications. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding requires consultation with a healthcare provider, especially regarding total caffeine intake. It contains caffeine, which may affect sensitive individuals.
