Are there any potential side effects of taking Biomax® Bio-Milk Thistle? Milk thistle is generally well tolerated when taken orally and adverse events are mostly gastrointestinal in nature. The most common side effects include abdominal bloating, diarrhoea, dyspepsia, flatulence, and nausea. These adverse reactions do not typically occur. People who are hypersensitive to milk thistle or any of the other ingredients should not use it. Consult your healthcare provider if symptoms persist.
Are there any warnings or special precautions I should be aware of before taking Biomax® Bio-Milk Thistle? Not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical supervision. Always consult with a healthcare provider if you are taking chronic medication. Users should be advised to immediately consult a medical doctor if a change in the colour of urine or stool appears. Patients with diabetes should use Biomax® Bio-Milk Thistle carefully, as it may lower blood glucose levels. It is also advisable that women with hormone-sensitive conditions avoid using Biomax® Bio-Milk Thistle.
Are there any contraindications for taking Biomax® Bio-Milk Thistle? It is contraindicated in individuals with hypersensitivity to milk thistle, plants of the Asteraceae family (such as marigolds, chrysanthemums, daisies, ragweed, etc.), or any of the other components of the formulation.
